CLASSES
"Anthony W. Johnson’s Intensive" is rigorous. This class probes the practical applications of Uta Hagen, Shurtleff, Stanislavsky, and Meisner with mask work and scene study, script analysis methods and techniques. Through acting technique, scene study, script analysis, and technical exercises, the class also delves into physical acting and camera work. When you have strong technique and more confidence in how to find yourself in the role, acting will be joyful. Anthony teaches the differences between Camera, Film and Theatre techniques. How they both can aid and or hurt an actor’s growth when trying to book jobs.
ACTING CLASSES
Mr. Johnson is an accomplished teacher. He continues to inspire and mentor students and professionals alike, most of all of his private students, who have gone on to Television shows, The Quad, Jericho, Soul Man, The Witches of Eastwick, Marvel’s Agents of Shield, and Films like, Black Limousine, You Got Served, Step Up Franchise, The Last Airbender, Conan, The Expendables, 1, 2 and 3. The Quad, Into the Badlands, Marvel's Agents of Sheild, and others. As well, his dancers have performed with the likes of American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre, Alberta Ballet, Cirque du Soleil, and the incomparable Béjart Ballet Lausanne; On Broadway in The Lion King, The Color Purple, Come Fly Away, and Mamma Mia, So you think you can Dance, Dancing with the Stars, as well countless schools and colleges such as School of American Ballet, The Boston Ballet School, The Rock School of Ballet, The Ailey School, Béjart Rudra, Boston Conservatory, and Juilliard to name a few. with the likes of Janet Jackson, Madonna, and much more.
